The Los Angeles based artist guccihighwaters, also known as Morgan Murphy, has released a new single, “deathwish.” This track is set to incorporate bold drums and chill hip-hop beats from his SoundCloud days, and it’s also a tribute for his early fans from 2017.

“As an ode to my debut collection of music post death, I produced “deathwish” in the style of emo rap or cloud rap, hoping my fans that have been here since 2017 can really feel the nostalgia of this one and find comfort in it.”
Morgan began his career on SoundCloud during high school and his guccihighwaters persona after graduation. He was quickly set apart from other rappers via his sweet vocals, heartbreakingly reflective lyrics, and touches of melodic piano. Since then, he’s amassed a streaming of over 500,000 monthly listeners.
