Hardcore forerunners Harm’s Way will be releasing their new album Common Suffering on September 29 across all digital streaming platforms, vinyl, and CD formats via Metal Blade Records.
Representing the band’s third single off of the upcoming LP comes “Undertow,” a track that sees the band utilizing the hypnotic vocal work of King Woman to add a whole new ethereal element to the band’s pummeling heaviness. The track comes along with a video directed by Finn O’Connell and features both Harm’s Way and King Woman in it.
Of the single, Harm’s Way reveals: “‘Undertow’ looks at the cycle of life and death, and one’s process of coming to a space of acceptance with the latter. While we can argue that self-preservation is inherently human, finding peace in death and dying brings us that much closer to humility and our shared humanity.”
Beginning October 18, Harm’s Way will be hitting the road with Fleshwater, Ingrown, and Jivebomb, going through the Midwest, Texas, both coasts, and more. Tickets can be purchased here.
