Alternative rock band Heartbent released their latest song “Agony,” an aggressive, pedal-to-the-metal track with little let-up. It’s the band’s latest in a series of releases as it builds its young career.
“Out new song ‘Agony’ just might be our heaviest and most interesting song to date,” the band state.
The song certainly reflects that sentiment. It alters paces with soaring vocals. The track’s chunky guitar chords blend with bouncy melodies. “Agony” is a huge step forward for the band that is assembling a nice collection of singles.
“Written about battling the urge to relapse, this song is a glimpse into the mind of someone in recovery,” the band continue.
Heartbent are making a name for themselves in the Baltimore alternative scene The group will cover My Chemical Romance songs at the popular area venue The Recher on November 24.
