Solo alternative artist Inconsistent Me releases his latest track, titled “Waited Til The Bell Rang.” It’s Brendan Dane’s —who goes by the moniker Inconsistent Me— latest song leading up to his upcoming EP.
“’Waited Til The Bell Rang’ is an introspective song about not really fitting in in high school and finding out as time goes on that popularity didn’t really matter,” the artist explains.
The Detroit native has found his footing in the Florida alternative scene, starting his musical journey a decade ago in a band called Black Tie Event. The group grinded outside Warped Tour before Dane began creating music under the name Inconsistent Me in 2019.
Going back to the song, Dane says “the true things that define us are what we choose to care about not what we feel we need to be part of the in crowd.”
