Solo alternative musician Sawyer releases “No Shame,” the newest track from the rising scene talent. It’s the independent artist’s third release over the last few months after dropping “every time (you go)” and “graduation” earlier in 2024.
“’No Shame’ is a reflection of drunken nights with friends indulging in ‘cheap win and cigarettes,’” Sawyer explains.
The track oozes indie-punk vibes with a steady build. “No shame, can’t get you out of my head now” is a simple yet effective chorus. The track’s other lyrics play well around its main moments.
“The turbulent emotions throughout the song are drawn from the bad habit of casual substance abuse as a coping mechanism to deal with pain,” Sawyer continues.
