Denver’s premier, primal-futurist performance ensemble Itchy-O have announced Hallowmass 2024: Expurgo! This will mark their 10-year anniversary of ritual, reverence, and revelry. It’ll be taking place October 31 to November 2. The ensemble is comprised of 57 members who are known for their larger-than-life performances.
This year will be special, as it marks a milestone of 10 years since the band began. The decennial celebration will elevate their annual rite to new heights. Both fans and newcomers are invited to step into the realm Itchy-O have created. It’s an experience like no other, where audience members are encouraged to shed their inhibitions and partake in a ceremonial rituals, placing tributes on an altar. This interactive elements allow for the connection between the performers and audience to be deepened.
The Inner-Aöth, known as Itchy-O supporters on Patreon, will be receiving exclusive insights and instructions granting them access to the secret lore that fuels the ensemble’s immersive performances. Despite this, all of the attendees can expect a sonic and visual onslaught as they’re baptized in an avant-ceremonial revelry, destined to be spoken of for years to come.
Tickets will be going for $40-$55, and capacity is extremely limited due to the experiential and intimate nature of the event. For the late-night assembly, the Altar Adoration is 9:15 – 10:30 p.m., and the Itchy-O play from 10:30 p.m. – 12 a.m. Get tickets here.
