Post hardcore and metalcore band Late 9 release “Breathe For Me,” a hard-hitting collaboration with Australian up-and-comers Patient Sixty Seven. It’s the band’s first release since its popular EP Thanks To You.
“This song really hits home for me because I was writing it along with some other unreleased material during what I felt like the worst five months of my life,” vocalist Kyle Farrar says. “I won’t go into detail, but I was dealing with a lot of fear and a lot of worry during this time and just feel as if ‘Breathe For Me’ really grasps every bit of what I was undergoing.”
It’s a big time for Farrar. The Late 9 singer will join Motionless In White on stage to perform Bryan Garris’ section of “Slaughterhouse” at the New Hampshire date of their co-headline tour with In This Moment.
It follows the streaming success of the band’s song “Repeated Apology,” which is pushing 500,000 streams on Spotify.
“It really means a lot when you pour your soul into something, and it’s appreciated and has value to others and can use to help themselves as well, that’s what we always have wanted was to connect with others through our music,” Farrar continues.
