News: Laura Jane Grace Releases Third Single Off Upcoming Album ‘Cuffing Season’

Punk icon and recent recipient of the key to the city of Gainsville, Florida Laura Jane Grace released the third single off of her upcoming album Hole in My Head which is due out February 16 on Polyvinyl Records. The new song, called “Cuffing Season,” reflects on getting older and moving on after hard times.

“I think as you get older and go through life’s hurts and heartbreaks, it gets harder and harder to let yourself be open and vulnerable,” Grace explains about the new single. “But when you do, it can be so worth it even if you just end up hurt and heartbroken again. In the end, I don’t think you regret those kinds of losses. I think you regret not trying.”

The music video, directed by Margherita Ballarin, is a bit of an abstract art-house film experiment with imagery depicted through a green graininess. Check out the video below.

Hole in My Head is available for pre-order from Polyvinyl Records. Follow Laura Jane Grace on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for future updates.
