News: LaureNicole Serves Up Nostalgic Alt Rock with ‘State of Preservation’ Video

North Carolina quartet LaureNicole have premiered a music video for latest single “State of Preservation.”

The track is taken from the band’s new EP, Preserve Love Here, out now.

With a sound that harkens to the pop-laced alt rock of the late 90s, LaureNicole deliver an EP that compels with it’s fresh melodies.

Formed in 2019, LaureNicole have gained recognition with their marriage of melodic rock and soaring pop. Lauren Nicole’s vocals and heart-on-sleeve songwriting take center stage as the band embark on an exploration of pain, growth, and the journey to acceptance.

Last year’s debut album From Within helped the band hit new heights, further bolstering their fanbase with supports for Far Too Jones and Mad Gallica. LaureNicole have also graced some of North Carolina’s most celebrated festivals, including the Beer and Bourbon Festival and Apex Music Festival.

New EP Preserve Love Here is a collation of the band’s growth to date. Drawing inspiration from iconic acts such as The Cranberries, Vertical Horizon, and Alanis Morissette, LaureNicole shows elements of ’90’s nostalgia, with a fresh execution.

Sharing the inspiration for the new tracks, Nicole shares: “Preserve Love Here is a three-track EP that explores love from three deeply personal perspectives—self-love, self-preservation, and shared connection.”

From heart-rendering ballad “Here With You” to the infectious melodic rock of “State of Preservation” and haunting, atmospheric “Love Yourself,”,Preserve Love Here, delivers empowering, pop-laced alt rock adorned with both sonic and emotional depth.

LaureNicole joins TREASVRE on tour on September 30 in Durham, NC.
