West Coast pop punkers Lonely Avenue release their latest track “WHAT’S GOING ON!?” ahead of a handful of upcoming shows. It’s the band’s second release this year.
“A feeling that everyone knows,” singer Gavin Prophet says about the song. “With driving guitars and slamming drums and bass, this song will make you move.”
The track draws in listeners with a highly-produced hook, giving way to Prophet’s spitting vocals. The song is sharply produced with plenty of interesting bells and whistles. Most importantly, it slaps, bringing listeners along a roller coaster of pace changes.
It zips along at just two minutes and five seconds in length. The track’s lyrics hit home.
“A look at how crazy life can be,” Prophet continues. “How it can feel hopeless, but in the end you need to let go and move on.”
