Anna Troxell shares her thoughts into the making of their first song:
“Around You” was the first song we wrote that really felt like a clear departure from Creepoid. We had already been writing for a few months, but in hindsight we were still entrapped in what felt familiar. With “Around You” we finally began to let go of that and to push into new territory. It was the beginning of us understanding what Lovelorn could be, a real hello/goodbye moment.
