Abstractionist metal duo Mamaleek have released new single “Boiler Room” ahead of forthcoming LP Diner Coffee out September 30. If you dig heavy, quirky music that draws on unique musical influences, Mamaleek are the band for you.
Diner Coffee features a bevy of live performances including a blues harmonica player who improvised recorded selections during practices, numerous samples, and field recordings. Also look for the addition of horns, woodwinds, and strings to round out this expressionistic record. The resulting tracks owe a wink and a nod to black metal, blues, ambient, and much more.
