Matador Records have announced they will reissue Bailter Space’s Wammo for its 25th anniversary, as the sixth installment of their Revisionist History Series, on February 12.

The reissue will be the first time the album will have been released on vinyl since 1995, with the tracks remastered from the original tapes. Preorders are available here now for the new limited-edition, translucent orange vinyl.

Bailter Space join Pavement, Yo La Tengo, Guided by Voices, Mary Timony, and Chavez in the Revisionist History Series as the final title of the 2020 lineup that aimed to remind the record-buying (and streaming) community of the many classic albums from their back-catalog celebrating significant anniversaries. Each release accompanied by rare live footage, photos, and music videos.

Keep reading for a full list of releases, with more to come in 2021. Read more about the series here.

Bailter Space released a new album, Concret, in July, which you can check out here. Watch the video for “Splat” below.
