Post-hardcore and emo band Maybsomeday releases its newest song “Silence.” It’s the band’s first release of 2024.
“We’re just a bunch of dudes who want to make music that people can connect with,” the band says.
The tune builds nicely with an eerie opening before crashing into an electrifying first verse. It’s aggressive but not overbearing, with the signature, versatile vocals from Maybsomeday.
“We’re treating our own cinematic universe with each release we are aiming for a hit of nostalgia but also something new and refreshing,” the band continues. “I think we are doing a pretty good job.”
The music video beautifully partners with the track, utilizing unique lighting and quick-twitch camerawork. There are artistic tricks that are infrequently, if ever used throughout the production. It’s a wonderful, complete work of art.
The band has featured major industry names on its past songs, like Sleeping With Sirens Kellin Quinn. Maybsomeday feel like it fits right in with the scene giants.
