News: Midfield Collabs with Goalkeeper On Pop-Punk Jam

A pair of top tier, Pennsylvania pop-punk bands join forces on a new tune titled “Southpaw.” Midfield collabs with Goalkeeper’s Ryan Beebe on its latest track.
“We reached out to (Goalkeeper) because we thought Ryan’s voice was perfect for the bridge, super happy they let us borrow him for that,” Midfield says. “We’ve known the dudes in Goalkeeper for a while and love their stuff.
“Southpaw” hits on every level, with an infectious beat and interesting vocal changes. The chorus is explosive with Beebe’s part blending perfectly. There are few (any?) bands that do the pop-punk, post-hardcore thing as well as Midfield.
“I had a blast working with Jeff and the Midfield guys on this track,” Beebe says. “The EZ vibes are so strong in this song, and I love it!”
‘SouthPaw” is Midfield‘s second song of the year following their release of “Fishtown and Down.” It’s the first new music from the band since 2022. Could this mean an album from E.P. at some point? We’ll have to wait and see.
In the meantime, keep a close eye on Midfield here.
