Miesha and the Spanks continue to receive positive feedback from their latest single “Mom Jeans // Mome Genes” which landed on streaming platforms on March, 7.
Miesha and the Spanks are a vibrant rock band from Alberta, Canada. The new track will be on their upcoming album Unconditional Love In Hi-Fi. It’s release is slated for April, 14.
“It’s more than just about the new mom-fit jeans that I’m wearing, though; that’s just the metaphor. It’s also the super tough mom genes that get us through that day to day of ups and downs and emotional manipulations and breakthroughs and pure joy that come with our role as Matriarch,” the band say about the new song.
As fans of films like David Lynch’s Eraserhead, OCL Studio’s recording engineer, Josh Rob Gwilliam, and Noah Mintz at Lacquer Channel Mastering, had an idea of how to approach “Mom Jeans // Mom Genes.” Their touch is a fine addition to this powerful display of female energy.
