Fernando Ribeiro, vocalist, comments:
“We had to wait long and hard, but the time is now that we get our songs the true symphonic makeover with 45 musicians on stage, rocking to our legacy! It’s going to be as epic as it gets!”
The band will revisit their classics as well as their 2017 album 1755, bringing together the power of Heavy Metal and classical music in a one-off, exclusive show. 1755 is Moonspell’s 12th studio album sung completely in Portuguese. The album features Paulo Bragança supplying a hauntingly voice of a Fado fallen angel, a big part of the Portuguese culture. His fascinating vocals are featured in “In Tremor Dei” (“Fear Of God”).
Moonspell recently re-released the album The Antidote on September 29 under exclusive licensing from Century Media.
