Portuguese metal masters Moonspell are slated to perform their first ever symphonic show Opus Diabolicum at the MEO Arena, Lisbon.
The show is set for October 26 in Lisbon, Portugal’s capital city. Moonspell will be joined by the 45-person Lisbon Sinfonietta Orchestra conducted by maestro Vasco Pearce de Azevedo. If this news isn’t cool enough, it’s going to be streamed worldwide and recorded for a future DVD/Blu Ray release via Napalm Records.
If you’re planning on attending this monumental gig, be aware that the first balcony is already sold out and less than 100 tickets remain for the Golden Circle. Virtual tickets and bundles are available at Moonspell’s website for the livestream, though.
Moonspell’s last record was the epic Hermitage released in 2021. The band have no plans to record an album anytime soon, possibly next year or later in 2026.
Moonspell are slated to support Dark Tranquility for a European tour beginning October 31 in Astra, Berlin and finishing up November 30 in Gothenburg, Sweden. Grab your tickets quick, as some dates have already sold out.
