Dungeon Master Mortiis is slated to release a new album in January 2020.
Reprising his 1994 record Ånden som Gjorde Opprør through Cold Meat Industry / Earache Records, Mortiis will release a re-interpretation of the original 1994 album with two new tracks. Titled Spirit of Rebellion and out through Omnipresence Productions / Dead Seed Productions, the record will drop this month.
Mortiis has claimed his place in musical history with his conception of the genre dungeon synth. Bringing the aesthetic of Lord of the Rings and Dungeons and Dragons to recorded tracks, there’s no one who sounds (or looks) quite like him..
Mortiis will also be touring the U.S. in the upcoming months.
