News: Normandie prescribes the final single “Serotonin”

Normandie has released “Serotonin,” their latest single leading up to the launch of their upcoming album, “Dopamine.” The album is set to be released on February 9th via Easy Life Records.

The latest song from the Stockholm trio provides a cathartic experience. Despite its name evoking a chemical substance associated with happiness, the song conveys a powerful blend of raw energy and pain.

This new song follows their previous singles, such as “Sorry,” “Butterflies,” “Flowers For The Grave,” “Blood In The Water,” “Hourglass,” and “Ritual,” which have been prescribed every first of the month as part of the band’s “Dopamine Clinic,” in anticipation of the album release.

Take a look at the video for the new single, “Serotonin”:

The band’s leader, Philip Strand, shared his thoughts on the new song and the innate human drive to surrender to our emotions in love:

“Why do we do it to ourselves? Whole-heartedly, we surrender to our feelings without knowing if it’ll be mutual.” The hard truth is most of our relationships during our lifetime are doomed to fail – yet still we do it.”

On another note, Normandie is gearing up to showcase their upcoming album throughout the UK and Europe. Get your tickets here.
