Ska-punkers Omnigone have released their final single, “Her Story,” from forthcoming album Feral due out July 26. The disc is set for release via Bad Time Records. Omnigone tapped director Andrew Juncker (French Press Films) to create a horror-themed music video for “Her Story” featuring a stalking figure clad in a custom-made mask by artist Bart Frescura.
If Omnigone sound familiar, they’re a straightedge ska-punk-hardcore band from the East Bay formed in 2019 by Adam Davis & Barry Krippene of Link 80. Their style of fusing punk and ska into a hard-hitting, abrasive style of hardcore prove why they’re the best at what they do.
Bassist Barry Krippene states:
“‘Her Story’ is about questioning man’s twisted desire to treat women like second-class citizens. The history of mankind is just that, the history of men. Women are rarely, if ever, credited for their part in human history. It’s meant to draw awareness to the lopsided leanings of society as a whole.”
Omnigone previously released videos for the tracks “Quicksand” and “Grief” from Feral.
