Recently Penny Bored have announced signing to Open Year Ears Records. Now they have shared a new single, “Dance In Hell.” This track marks the first release from their upcoming label debut EP, I’m Bored! out September 13.

Penny Bored’s songwriter, Faith Alesia comments on I’m Bored!:
“I’m Bored! is all about navigating your 20s. We experience heartbreak, navigate friendships, gossip, and even learn to own up to our own mistakes. This collection of songs breaks down my journey of entering a new phase of adulthood and learning to make the most of it, even if I have to be a little delusional some days to get through it.”
Through honest lyrics about mental health and personal struggles, Penny Bored, the solo project started by Faith Alesia (they/them). They combine catchy melodies with relatable topics to create an authentic discography. Inspired by early 2000s pop-rock, Alesia uses nostalgic sounds to help establish a safe space for listeners to connect to and know they’re not alone. Faith’s passion for music was reignited for music during the summer of 2020 and they continue to promote the message that it’s never too late to follow your dreams.
