Persei have just released “Broken Inside,” the latest teaser for their highly anticipated debut album “What’s Left Inside,” due for release on May 31.
Following the success of their previous singles “Not Okay,” released on March 8, and “Faith,” released on April 5, “Broken Inside” continues to explore themes surrounding the challenges of adulthood and the acceptance of defeat. This latest release introduces a fresh acoustic simplicity while maintaining the signature pop-punk intensity that Persei fans have come to love.
The band’s drummer and vocalist, Sergio Gorno, explains the inspiration behind “Broken Inside”:
“While it’s always good to have a positive outlook during hard times, sometimes we just accept the defeat and lifelessness of certain situations. Not everything can be sunshine and rainbows.”
