Gen-Z indie-pop trio Phoneboy release their newest single “Your Apartment.” The bouncy, polished track comes hot on the heals of the band’s popular recent releases “What a Coward” and “Ferrari.” The releases build up to their new album titled Moving Out, which will come out on March, 24.
“Your Apartment” follows the same stylistic path as the previous singles, with a catchy hook that leads into a verse that builds to an explosive chorus. It’s bouncy with enough edge to attract the rock crowd. “Yout Apartment” is power-pop done to perfection.
“We respect artists who want to make music just for themselves, and it’s not like we don’t, but we trust our friends the most. If they like the song, we know it’s good,” the band explain.
Recent graduates of a small, technical school where indie bands aren’t common, Phoneboy relied on these close friends to help spread their early music far and wide. Some of first few songs earned millions of streams.
Bubbly enough for pop playlists, but sharp enough for the scene, Phoneboy might have what it takes to crack the mainstream ceiling. Regardless, they’ll also have their close group supporting them.
