Poolside At The Flamingo have announced the release of their EP Accabadora alongside a new video for “The Deceiver.” This record marks a major milestone for the Colorado grindcore quartet which finds them at a pivotal point in their career showcasing their evolution as musicians as well as their drive to not just reach the limits of extreme music but surpass it as well.
Speaking on the EP release, Poolside At The Flamingo state:
“The Accabadora EP is the first release that we’re truly proud of and feel embodies the sound that we’re looking to achieve. The songs on this EP were written with more care and attention than any other album/ep we’ve released. To us, it’s the perfect blend of spastic grindcore and soul crushing breakdowns.”
Regarding the video for the track “Deceiver” the band comments:
“This song starts off with some chunk that will keep you guessing. Elements of hardcore may slightly peak their heads out as we express our rage for fake, two faced people.”
New single “The Deceiver” follows up on the success of previous singles “Hell On Earth” and the EP’s title track “Accabadora” which featured a super cool music video with special appearances by the band members’ kids.
