Asbury Park, NJ singer/songwriter Renee Maskin has released her new song “Sage,” along with a brilliant music video directed by renowned director John Decker. The song is from Renee Makin’s upcoming, yet-to-be-titled LP which will be released in 2025.

Renee shares her thoughts:
“Some people will only show up for you when they think there’s something in it for them. The theme of ‘Sage’ is a haunted house metaphor for a failed friendship.”
She adds:
“I’m forever trying to figure out how to combine my love for David Bowie, Bob Dylan, and Willie Nelson in what I do.”
With more than 25 years of experience, Renee Maskin has gathered an immense following from the ever-growing music scene in Asbury Park, NJ. The artist has toured with bands for decades. She has been making music under her name since 2022. Her distinguished voice has made her stand out from all other artists, which is showcased in the new, beautiful slow-burner track “Sage.”
