Philadelphia indie rockers Riverby have signed to Take This To Heart Records and will release their debut album Smart Mouth with the label on July 10. In light of the Black Lives Matter protests, all proceeds from the album will be donated to bail funds across the country through ActBlue.

The first two singles from Smart Mouth give a taste of the band’s penchant for pop-punk energy and indie rock grit. “Nose To Nose” works with a softer sway and loud-soft dynamics while “The Tell Tale Heart” has a harder stomp to it.

The band’s decision to donate the album’s proceeds comes as protests against racism and police violence continue across America and inspire others around the world.

“It’s important to remember that every major city and every single state is currently in the middle of protests — these are not isolated cities in your towns or your friends’ towns,” vocalist/guitarist Sophia Greenberg says of And people need help.”
