News: Roses In December Release ‘The Day That He Saw Red’

Newcastle rockers Roses in December release its cathartic new single “The Day That He Saw Red.” The tune is packed with vicious riffs, capturing the inner mind of a killer from the North East of England.

“This is another song where we’re telling a local story of taxi masculinity,” the band say. “The lyrics to this song were based on true events.” Sam Grant, from fellow Geordie rockers Pigs x7, recorded the song. Roses in December sas it’s been a guiding light in terms of how they wants to redefine their sound.

“Our bassist created the hook to the song and collaborated with Max, who did the structure. It all came to place within one practice.”

“The Day That He Saw Red” fuses the aggressive, rugged sounds of punk and grunge with elements of prog. The band has earned spins from Tom Robinson on Radio 1 and BBC Introducing.

Roses In December have performed at Stone’s Throw Festival and The Alternative Escape. Look out for new music and shows from the band here.
