On January 28 and 29, Run For Cover Records will host a West Coast showcase featuring Fiddlehead, Field Medic, Glass Beach, and others. The shows, presented by Vans, will take place at the Lodge Room in Los Angeles.
The shows bear a resemblance to an isolated set of SXSW showcases. The lineup emphasizes newer or more recently established acts. Fiddlehead’s Between the Richness has been hailed as one of the strongest emo releases of this year while Field Medic’s Floral Prince received a warm reception in 2020. Lower on the billing, rising acts like Runnner, The Berries, and Healing Potpourri fill out the lineup.
The promotion as Run For Cover West Coast Showcase begs the question: Will there be more regional shows?
