Satan’s Satyrs have risen from the dead to announce tour dates and brand new single called “What The Winds Brought.” This track follows up their comeback single released at the end of 2023, “Quick Quiet Raid.” If that’s not enough good news for you filth heads, the band are releasing a new record this month, After Dark.
Regarding Tee Pee Records, bassist Clayton Burgess states:
“It’s a great fit for us because they can appreciate our odd-band-out legacy. Tee Pee Records has a long history of cultivating a heavy freak rock underground, and we feel right at home in that universe.”
Burgess continues:
“Even during the band’s recess, I never stopped writing. We were always the riffy band on punk bills, the fast band on doom bills, the glam-tinged band on metal bills, with each album sounding different from the last. As new material slowly amassed and the right players fell into place, the potential couldn’t be ignored. The band could be a vital force again.”
Satan’s Satyrs have been described as acolytes of Sabbath, Venom, The Stooges, and Blue Cheer. Electric Wizard’s Jus Oborn once described them as, “Violent, filthy, ugly and loud like it should be.”
