British metalcore crew Scream Blue Murder have dropped a new single. “Creature” is out now.
The new single is taken from the band’s upcoming EP Creature City, set for release on May 12.
“We all face our own personal battles, struggle to defeat our inner demons, and this is exactly what “Creature” is about. We don’t have to face these problems alone,” shares vocalist Aaron Bloomer.
Since the release of 2016 debut album, Hollow Stories, British metalcore crew Scream Blue Murder have crafted a gripping and melodically weighted brand of metalcore.
Intertwining resonating guitars, potent percussion, and a deft interplay of clean and scream from lead vocalist Aaron Bloomer, Scream Blue Murder put atmosphere front and center, nodding to the likes of The Red Chord, Bring Me The Horizon and We are The Ocean.
The Coventry natives have landed some notable support slots in the past few years, sharing the stage with Bury Tomorrow, Of Mice & Men and Cancer Bats. The Midlands rockers bring a tenacious stage show that mirrors their high-octane performance on record.
Having penned a record deal with Manic Kat Records, Scream Blue Murder are back with their first new music since 2019’s Rock Bottom. “Creature” is a simmering display of thunderous metalcore; a powerful marriage of technical prowess and storytelling.
