Shadohm have dropped a video for the track “Blurred” from forthcoming record Through Darkness Towards Enlightenment.
This release marks their debut record via Selfmadegod Records. Shadohm is a Polish metal collective featuring current and former members of Vader, Decapitated, Hate, Antigama, Batushka, and more. The band boast of a contemporary combination of musical styles, citing acts like Architects, Lorna Shore, Meshuggah, Gojira, and Katatonia among others as inspiration.
Drummer Paweł Jaroszewicz states:
“‘Through Darkness Towards Enlightenment’ is a commentary on how I perceive the surrounding reality and is inspired by everything that I encountered throughout the years. It is a form of releasing the pressure and frustration growing within for many years, a form of catharsis, a sort of therapy—coming to terms with my demons and finding the strength to pursue my goals against all odds.”
Shadohm consist of founder and drummer Paweł Jaroszewicz, vocalist Adrian Meissner, guitarist/vocalist Rafał Łyszczarz, guitarist Jakub Śliwowski, and bassist Błażej Kasprzak. Look for the band to tour across their native Poland supporting Batushka with additional support from Baalzagoth on select dates.
