Pennsylvania pop-punk band Sleep Cycles release their newest song “Undone.” The drop coincides with a handful of shows scheduled in Pennsylvania and follows their recently released track “Particles.”
“Undone is a reaction to miscommunication. When we speak in riddles or words of negativity, we can set off a butterfly effect of emotions to the ones we love, which can spiral right back at us,” the band say.
“Undone” is wonderfully bouncy, with interesting reverbs and uppity guitar chords pacing the first verse. The kick drum presses the chorus forward and it doesn’t let up. The lyrics are tight and relatable.
“The song aims to help people understand words can hurt not only those around us but ourselves as well, causing us and others to be ‘undone’ by them,” the band continue.
