Swiss indie punks Slimboy have announced their new album, The Fear, The Anger & Most Of All Your Hope, will be released in early 2022. Check out their latest single, “Everglow,” now!
After two years away, the band return with their self-recorded/produced seventh album. Frontman Joel Bader says:
“The fact that we produced and recorded the songs ourselves was the best decision we’ve made in a long time. We are like a good wine; the quality gets better with age.”
Guitarist Fabian Gasser recorded the nine songs in his own rehearsal room in Basel, with the very personal songs about love, hope, and disappointment evidently close and blunt. Mixing by Bob Hoag (The Ataris, Pollen) and mastering by Jason Livermore at the world-famous The Blasting Room (Rise Against, Descendents, NOFX, etc.) gave the album the final touch.
Next year will see Slimboy’s journey continue with the new album and a European tour with Love Equals Death.
