Pop-punk group Smoking Popes have announced that their new album, Lovely Stuff, will be released this April via Anxious And Angry. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album Born To Quit, the band will tour across the United States, playing the album in its entirety along with songs from Lovely Stuff and well-known familiar favorites.
Smoking Popes will embark on several U.S. tours this spring and summer, starting with a number of dates throughout February and March with Camp Crash and Rodeo Boys as support. In April and May, the band will have a co-headlining tour alongside Off With Their Heads, and in June, Smoking Popes will tour as support for Bayside.

Lovely Stuff is the first full-length release from Smoking Popes since their 2018 album Into the Agony.
“It took us about two years to make this record,” says frontman Josh Caterer. “We went into the studio with just two songs in the summer of 2022; then I kept writing, and we’d go back every few months and record another couple songs. It was a long process because we were doing it all piecemeal, but I think the final product has a cohesive energy. The songs all feel connected.”
