Soilwork’s Bjorn Strid has contributed guest vocals to the explosive, nu-prog Kaosis track “Blood Of Angels.” Bjorn Strid is widely recognized as one of the most talented vocalists in modern metal, mainly as the front man for Soilwork since the band’s inception 29 years ago. Strid has also lent his vocal talents to Motionless In White, Powerwolf, and most recently Epica.
Kaosis vocalist and producer Xen states:
“I needed someone that could deliver choral operatics as well as bone-crushing authority. The list of candidates was short. Speed (Bjorn) was my first choice.”
Guitaris and Vocalist Djinnobi comments:
“’Blood of Angels’ is about Man killing the self-made construct of God to find faith in himself.”
The essence of “Blood of Angels” can be found in the mid-’90’s American prog with riffage and sound design not dissimilar to Tool. The track is rounded out by delivering a brutal breakdown delivered via a scenic and exploratory path.
