Solo artist Drew Davies releases his brand new single “The Bitter End” on all streaming platforms. The cinematic sounding track echoes the likes of ’80’s Bowie, or even heavier acts like Sisters of Mercy.
“I was listening to a lot of rock ‘n’ roll when I wrote the song and wanted to combine the fuzzed out drive of bands like QOTSA with the retro futurist vibe of artists like Cobra Man and Big Black Delta,” Davies explains.
Davies regularly tours with heavy metal acts and is gaining underground notoriety. He recently played at Download and Bloodstock festivals, gaining support from a handful of BBC outlets.
“This isn’t a full return to Headbangers Ball, but I wanted to show I’d kept the tux in the closet,” Davies continues.
