A new song is out from the rock band Sour Tusk titled “Kick It In.” The track marries sounds from bands like Motorhead and Fu Manchu, creating a listening experience that spans rock sub genres.
“This is the full embodiment of what it means to get on stage and let it all go,” vocalist Nic Rudd states. “The lights go down; that’s when it will change; let the monster out.”
Beginning in 2016, Sour Tusk is a bombastic rock ‘n’ roll power trio from the U.K., playing nearly 200 shows. The band released its debut album in 2019, titled Turn It Up, followed by the EP Pretty Ugly, in 2020. Sour Tusk is currently working on more, future music.
“Kick It In” is clearly a highlight of the band’s newest chapter.
“The utter epitome of letting it all hang out, giving the energy to the audience and back again,” Rudd continues.
The track was recorded at Sour Tusk’s very own Mammoth Recordings LTD studio in Sheffield and engineered, mixed and mastered by Nic Rudd. Learn more about Sour Tusk here.
