The Los Angeles pop punk sextet Spanish Love Songs have dropped pre-orders on their Bandcamp for their newest release titled Brave Faces Etc., a re-creation of their album Brave Faces Everyone. So far, two songs are available for download from Brave Faces Etc., “Generation Loss”, and “Optimism (as a Radical Life Choice)”. Both songs are very minimalist, seemingly stripped down from their original form, utilizing an acoustic guitar, a synth, and Dylan Slocum’s voice to recreate these songs.
Brave Faces, Etc. is set to release on April 15th, and with nothing else to go on except the Bandcamp page, it looks like it will just be a digital release. However, their label Pure Noise Records has been on a kick as of late, releasing physical media of deluxe versions of albums, so maybe collectors of vinyl and cassette will be able to add Brave Faces Etc. to their collection in the near future.
You can catch Spanish Love Songs supporting The Wonder Years on tour with acts Origami Angel and Save Face starting February 5th.
