New Jersey pop-punkers Sucker Punch release their blistering single “Worst Case Ontario” with a music video debuting on the popular YouTube channel BVTV.
In a media release, the band say the song is a “Jennifer’s Body-inspired easycore anthem for fans of The Story So Far and A Day To Remember.”
You can hear themes of betrayal and inertia in the lyrics “this small town will never be the same/ Devil’s Kettle will become my grave.” With an aggressive pace and a smoothly blended vocal-guitar combo, the track is an easy, mosh-pit-inducing listen. The music video is directed by Eric DiCarlo (Lorna Shore, Chelsea Grin, Veil of Maya).
“Worst Case Ontario” will serve as the lead single for Sucker Punch’s upcoming Better Pleasures EP. The collection of four songs is slated for release in the fall.
