Norwegian multi-instrumentalist Sylvaine has announced that she will release the 10th Anniversary Edition of her debut album Silent Chamber, Noisy Heart. The record will be released on November 15. The vinyl editions are scheduled to be released in December.
The album, which was released a decade ago, fused ambient shoegaze, post-rock, and darkwave to create a hauntingly beautiful aura. The multi-instrumentalist Sylvaine served as a composer, recording engineer, producer, and musician on the record. She also was joined by mixing engineer Nick Terry and Ray Staff (who took the mastering duties) at Air Studios. The album became known for its haunting melodies and atmospheric guitar work while it made way for Sylvaine’s entrance to the music world as an accomplished solo artist.
The album has been remastered by Karl Daniel Lidén, known for his frequent collaborations with Sylvaine. The anniversary edition features an exclusive bonus track, a mesmerizing acoustic version of the title track. The re-release also includes a thoughtfully refined layout and artwork, alongside liner notes.
