News: Taylor Acorn Shares New Single ‘High Horse’

Nashville’s pop-punk powerhouse, Taylor Acorn, has released a brand new single, “High Horse,” on May 17.  To join the release of the track, an official music video has been made. Some of the featured footage is from Taylor’s sold out Good Enough Tour with World’s First Cinema that ended just last week across the United States. There’s currently more music in the works. However, “High Horse” is a track about staying true to oneself, no matter how people look at you or what they think.

Taylor Acorn on “High Horse”:

“Over the years of sharing my music and being a presence online, I’ve learned that no matter how hard you try, there will always be people who just really love to hate you. That fact has been one of the toughest pills to swallow because my Virgo brain wants to please everyone at all times, but at the end of the day, you have to be strong and keep powering through despite what they say. No one knows you like you know you and “High Horse” is my little anthem to remember that it’s never as deep of a cut as it seems.”

Taylor’s currently preparing to head international with an appearance at the Slam Dunk Festival. Fans can also catch her live at Let’s Go! Music Festival in late May and at Four Chord Music Festival in late June. She will also be performing at Bourbon and Beyond in September. Between her performances at Four Chord Music Festival and Bourbon and Beyond, she will be hitting the road with Dashboard Confessional and Boys Like Girls.

Taylor hails from a small town in North-Central Pennsylvania, Wellsboro, and she has always dreamt of a career in music. In 2014, she dropped out of Kutztown University to pursue her dream, when she set her sights on Nashville back in 2017. Since Taylor grew up on the early 1990’s and 2000’s pop-punk/pop-rock scene and it was never a phase for her, this inspired her path of genre. She’s now leaving her own imprint within the pop-punk community, where she gives her fans a place to feel safe and to feel heard.
