Floridian pop-punkers Television Supervision returns to the fold with its new song “Empty” a bouncy, anthemic and cleanly produced tune that doesn’t waste a second. While Green Day might be the most successful scene band of all time, it’s rare to find a group that emulates the legends as well as Television Supervision.
This song is a perfect example of how.
“Empty” is the opener to our self-help concept album,” the band says about its upcoming album Joyride. “Designed to empathize and rest your mind listening front to back. Starting with the depths that life has to offer (“Empty”) and ending in a place of encouragement, constantly coupled with loud, motivating energy.”
The album doesn’t have an official release date yet, but if “Empty” is any indication of where its going, the new album will be Television Supervision’s best yet. The group has steadily progressed over the past years with its most popular songs dropped in recent release cycles.
Television Supervision clearly has settled in on its sound.
“We’re dropping this album one song at a time, and every song reels you in more and more, without a doubt the best music we’ve ever done,” the band continues.
Television Supervision travels throughout Florida and the greater South to perform. They often cover scene giants and are well worth the price of admission.
Keep an eye out for the band’s upcoming album Joyride and future work here.
