Telling Secrets has dropped a Halloween ready heavy hit, the hauntingly moreish “Crazy”.
With scary season in full swing, Vik Kovacs and co. nod to the morbid and the morose on the new single, one that showcases Telling Secrets trademark oscillation between anthemic alternative rock and seismic heavy.
Kovacs explains: “‘Crazy’ is a joyride rollercoaster packed into a song exploring the theme of dealing with pressure in an unserious, tongue in cheek manner. When things are so bad all you can do is laugh and make the best of a situation. With Halloween in sight, this song is a genre-bender with everything from clown noises, to Queen-esque vocal stacks!”
Alternative rock emergent Telling Secrets burst onto the scene in 2024, with a collision of arena-ready choruses and explosive breakdowns that have since hit the airwaves on Kerrang Radio, Sirius XM Octane, Idobi Radio & BBC Radio 1 Introducing Rock.
Last year’s debut album, Telling Secrets I was a spectacular first entry for the band. Featuring a stacked set of rock ragers, the band nods to a dexterous array of influence from Dayseeker to The Used to Sleep Token.
2025 had already seen the release of three rousing singles, most recently the sizzling “Glorybound”. The deeply personal track unpacked the true meaning of home, and the struggle faced by immigrants globally.
From the heartfelt to the horrifying, new release “Crazy” offers another dose of atmospheric alternative rock; a chaotic and cavalier ode to all things terrifying, as Telling Secrets pay homage to spooky season.
