News: The Alchemy Release Low-Fi Rock Ballad “Summer”

The Alchemy

Fans of low-fi and rock will feel right at home with The Alchemy’s new song “Summer.” The ballad is full of heart with a huge, emotional chorus.

“We weave a tapestry of emotions, drawing from our own experiences. It’s about recognizing the flaws within ourselves, but promising unconditional love to the person who means the world to you,” the band state.

“Summer” drops in anticipation of the band’s third album, due out in November. It’s being supported by Help Musicians, the leading UK charity for musicians of all genres.

“I think subconsciously as musicians, we captured the spirit of the 2000s romcom soundtracks while infusing our own unique style and modern sensibilities,” the band continue. “The result is a song that speaks to both our personal experiences and to the romantic in all of us. We hope that ‘Summer’ not only resonates with you all and also introduces a new generation to the timeless feeling of love through music.”

The Alchemy’s most recent album, Idle Ghosts, dropped in 2022 with support of BBC Introducing. The gorgeous music video for “Summer” was captured in one continuous shot by Static Productions. It was released exclusively through New Noise Magazine.
