News: The Blossom Sessions Debut

The Blossom Sessions is a live performance channel where artists perform their songs re-imagined, offering fresh interpretations of their music. There have been two soft releases, but starting January 1, 2025, there will be weekly episodes with a new artist every second week. The purpose of this is to introduce artists to new listeners, all while giving pre-existing fans new content to enjoy. The purpose of the project is to help deepen the connection between fans and artists.

On January 1, they’re set to launch the series with a premiere session featuring pop-punk singer/songwriter Jack the Underdog. They have already soft-launched the channel and released the both pilot episodes. In addition, they have also partnered with BSB TV, based in the U.K., who will stream the episode the following day.

Organizer Ale Gibson says about The Blossom Sessions:

“’The Blossom Sessions’ has been in development for almost two years, inspired by an eight-year-old video of Bring Me The Horizon performing ‘Doomed’ at The Royal Albert Hall. Seeing the power of orchestral elements in music instantly had me hooked on re-imagined performances of all types. Growing up in a community deeply rooted in supporting the growth of artists, I wanted ‘The Blossom Sessions’ to be a platform for music discovery while equipping artists with unique, fresh content for their dedicated fans. These performances will also include artist interviews to deepen the fan-to-artist connection. My goal is for ‘The Blossom Sessions’ to inspire people-artists, fans, and creatives alike-with its sounds, visuals, and stories.”

Jack the Underdog on working with The Blossom Sessions:

“I’ve wanted to get an acoustic version of “SAD TODAY” together for quite some time, so when The Blossom Sessions reached out to me to work together on a project, I knew right away which song I wanted to do. ‘SAD TODAY’ is my favorite song to perform live. The message of the song has helped me and many of my fans stand up to the negatives and injustices of the world and keep going. As an LGBT person, making sure my music helps create a sense of positivity and community for my fellow ‘underdogs’ is extremely important to me. Most of my songs have a lot of production and energy, so I’m excited to have a stripped down version of one of my most popular original songs for the world. Huge shout-out to ‘The Blossom Sessions’ & Ale for being so great!”
