Midway through 2019, through mutual admiration of each other’s work, experimental heavy weights The Body and Uniform released a collaborative album, Everything That Dies Someday Comes Back. Now, two decades into their career, The Body have released their 20th anniversary album, Remixed, and have reignited this musical friendship with Uniform on a joint U.S. tour throughout March.

Remixed is a culmination of, well, remixes, from both members of The Body’s various friendship circles, influences, and from places of mutual musical respect. Featuring such names as Lingua Ignota, Moor Mother, Moss of Aura (Gerrit Welmers of Future Islands), and many, many more, this album is a crowning achievement for a band who thrive on collaboration with their contemporaries. Throughout their career, The Body have worked with the likes of Thou, Full of Hell, Krieg, The Haxan Cloak, and The Assembly of Light Choir.
