Right after releasing the crushing single “Testify!” The Discarded mark their return with their new single “Going Down to the Beach.” The song is from their upcoming sixth full-length album The Green Door, which will be released on November 25.
This track lets the listener escape the daily chaos of routine life and recharge to the fullest. Frontman JP Wasson was inspired to write the song in the early days of lockdown. His experience of balancing work during the pandemic and looking for solitude has an extensive impact.
