The new album by The Drowns called Blacked Out dropped last Friday and it’s a banger. In fact, the first song on the album is called “Banger,” so they definitely knew this album rips. To commemorate the release of the album, the band released a hilarious new video for the album’s second track, “Ketamine & Cola.” In the video, a man wearing a middle-finger mask running through the city of Seattle and ruining everyone’s day along the way.
The band’s frontman, Rev, explains the idea for the video: “The main character wakes up upset and then just runs through the entire video. He’s trying to get somewhere quickly and ruining peoples day is along the way. The final destination is just getting to a bar for a beer. I told the concept to our friend Doug, who is a videographer, and then we ended up shooting the majority of it on the road on our last west coast tour.”
Check out the video, directed by Rev himself and edited by Hot Diggity Doug, below.
