After five years, The Methadones will make its return as a band and play four upcoming shows in U.S. and Europe. The first show will start on May 29th at Red Flag in St. Louis, MO. After that, they’ll play at Chop Shop in Chicago on June 27th with Direct Hit!, Dan Vapid and The Cheats, and Capgun Heroes. Tickets will go on sale Friday at 10am. The Methadones will head across the pond to make appearances at Back To Future and Punk Rock Raduno Festival.
The most prolific period for The Methadones was in 2006, when the band moved from Thick Records to Red Scare and released 21st Century Power Pop Riot. Stream it here!
The Methadones broke up in 2010, and now the current lineup stands as Dan Vapid, Simon Lamb on guitar, Mike Soucy on drums, and Pete Mittler on bass.
